StCroix Today

In looking at StCroix today one finds that it still maintains a great deal of the charm that has made the island enviable for generations. Indeed, it remains rather rural and even a bit undeveloped in its flare and flavor today. For example, due to the terrain of the island, which is rough to a fairly significant degree, the roads across the island are sometimes difficult to traverse and not particularly smooth.

In addition, when looking at StCroix today, it is important to note that there remains damage to buildings and other structures on the island that have yet to be repaired in the aftermath of a series of significant hurricanes, starting with Hugo in 1989.

Despite the rough edges around the island, it is a tropical paradise. For example, StCroix today is home to a variety of four and five star resorts and hotels. These properties attract people from around the world who desire top notch accommodations when they are enjoying a vacation or a holiday.

StCroix today is also the site of some absolutely wonderful restaurants and bistros. These dining spots feature everything from the finest seafood to Caribbean cuisine that is both delicious and memorable. In addition to great dining options, the island also offers a thriving and vibrant nightlife scene. You really can have a tremendous time when you spend any time at all enjoying the nightclub and related scene on any given night on the island.

When it comes to shopping, StCroix also has a great deal to offer. There are many different shops and boutiques at which you can purchase everything from clothing to jewelry at what will prove to be very affordable prices. Indeed, as is the case in any number of the Caribbean islands, you can find stylish designer clothing on StCroix for nearly half what it would cost in stores in places like the United States or United Kingdom.

Finally, live music and other types or performances abound across the island of StCroix. You truly can take in some of the most unique and interesting entertainment options on the island, opp' that you cannot find anywhere else on the planet.
